High people. fattychunks here. the poster Deep Though from carm.org invited me here although i am currently involved pretty intensely in 2 other communities. i am a former christian, now atheist because i believe i had to finally be honest with myself. like i tell everyone, i loved jesus and the ministry i started as a street-style preacher, youth leader and worship leader.  i dont live to convert people away from theism, but i try to create a positive look for the atheist community and try to educate those who seem to have a misguided idea of what atheists are.

i'll stop there then as an introduction cuz i culdnt find an introduction forum?
=)
so i'll see how much i can give to this community.
cheers all

Happy you like it.  I am particurly fond of Deep's tag line. I don't think I ever mentioned it to him before but I am quite the HitchHikers Guide fan. I've read all the books like forty-two times.  A while back I had a couple quotes from the books as tag lines.

Back home I have a large hard cover gold leaf leather bound edition of all the books in one.  One of my more prized possesions.  That and my rabbit fur pouch. When the rabbit was killed it was rumored to have spoken the words "Oh no, not again." But this was never really confirmed.
