Jewish Commentary (RASHI) on the call of Abraham

The following quotes are taken from Rashi's commentary.  Rashi short for Rabbi Shlomo Yitzchaki (Solomon Ben Isaac), is perhaps the most studied Jewish authority on Oral Tradition, interpretation, and Torah commentaries.  He died in 1105 C.E.  

Here is his commentary on the departure of Terah and his family and the call of Abram.  Note: Rashi's comments are interspersed with the translated words from Torah. The text is copied from the parshah (Noach & Lech Lechah) at: http://www.chabad.org

RASHI:  Genesis 11:31-32

31. and they went forth with them. And Terah and Abram went forth with Lot and Sarai. 32. and Terah died in Haran. [This happened] after Abram had left Haran and had come to the land of Canaan, and had been there for over sixty years, for it is written (below 12:4):
