I was wondering the same thing.
Might have simply decided there was nothing to be gained, either for us or for himself. Or both.

Suggested Reading list:
"You Take jesus, I'll Take God" - Sam Levine
"The Moon Is A Harsh Mistress" - Robert Heinlein
"Hope" - Aaron Zelman & L. Neil Smith
"The Probability Broach" - L. Neil Smith
"Wizard's First Rule" - Terry Goodkind (Check out the rest of the series, too.)
"The Constitution of the United States" - input from various American Statesmen (Read that as "Old, wealthy white men, now dead, who were often seen to be wearing wigs and hose in public.")

That thought did cross my mind.

I know that most of them, like our friend, would prefer to have a dialogue where views are shared without trying to 'convert' the other to their side.  More of "helping" (if you will) the other to understand who, what, why, etc.. they are.  That is hard to do many times.

I'm here.  Not much going on in this section of the Forum.  The auto-forwarding to my personal e-mail must not be working.  I didn't receive notice of the post earlier this month.  Only after logging in tonight did I see them. That explains why I didn't reply sooner.

As for something to be gained:   Its always good to meet new people - even if only 'on-line'.  I don't have any expectations of learnging something new about Christianity - I consider myself well versed on the subject (and most demoninational positions).  If I can bring new insight to Gentiles about Jews and Judaism, then my time is worth it.

Wishing everyone a happy T-Day.

Ah... so you are around.  Good.

One thing that I appreciate is the sharing of knowledge without criticism or rebuke.  Especially where there are friends to gain.

However..not to pick a fight, but I highly doubt that you learned all you can about 'christianity'.

But, we all learn as we are willing too.  I too thought that I reached a maximum in certian areas.

Glad to see that you are still around.
