Can you handle breakfast at 8am and lunch at 3:30pm?  Well, I can.  In Spain they tend to eat lunch after 2pm but breakfast around 8 in the morning.  It

Ugh, I wouldn't like that at all.  Eating at 11:30-12:30 and THEN napping sounds good, though.  Sounding pretty good right about now, anyway.

I am scheduled to work at 6:30 am (it was 4:30 am at one time).  IF I did eat anything for breakfast, usually it was just one toasted bread.  But most of the time I would not eat anything, just one cup of juice (orange or apple).   Then I would go through the whole day of work without nothing in my stomach.  But I would never get hungry because I was tooooo busy.  Then I would normally eat the "supper" meal...around 5 or 6 pm.  So....basically, most of lifestyle deals with a single meal a day...and I am surviving just fine...even without those most wanted "naps". :D

Well, its about 11:30 pm here today.  So far, I have consumed nothing but a handful of chips today.  My favourite chips, mind you.  I feel no hunger pains.  Maybe because it has to do with some of the beer that I've been consuming?  The only real meal I had thus far is is nothing but a handful of chips.  Tomorrow, though, since it is my day off, I will prepare myself a big breakfast!!!!!

One thing that I do notice is that I can gain weight very quickly.

This leads me to ask the question...

What is YOUR favourite food?

Me?  Oh boy...

I love homemade pizza.  I lust for it everytime.  I have made it on accasion, but easier to order out.  But when I do make it myself, there would be lots of sauce, cheese, pepporoni and other meats, such as hamburger or suasage or bacon.  Mmmm......

The fault of ordering out, and making it yourself is how much of the toppings and how thick the crust you like.  Ordering out then you can expect  much more dought than the desired toppings.  In this scenerio, make it your self.  The cost is comparable unless you prefer that someone else make it for you.

What is your dish?  If you do one personally, then share the ingredients and the know how.

It could be your favourite breakfast, lunch or supper.  Does the creator of this thread mind if I ask?

Pepperoni Pizza is my favorite food. (people before they know me well enough tend to think I a right wring christian because of how normal I seem) Unlike Geegee though I can drop as much as 10 pds. a day. I learned this when my pants seemed to small in the morning and too big in the afternoon.

Here is a very simple recipe for some to try.

Ingredients:

Hamburger (1 pound)
Potatoes (about 5-6 good sized)
Mushroom soup (1 can)
Some onions (if you desire)
Salt and pepper to add spice (if you want)
butter or margarine (one-two tablespoons)
Milk (about 1/4 cup or less)

Fry your hamburger to your desired liking (with your desired amount of onion).  In the meantime boil potatoes as your hamburger cooks.  When your hamburger is cooked, add mushroom soup, salt and pepper (delete the spices if you want).  Allow the burger/mushroom soup to come to a boil and simmer for about 5-10 minutes.  In the meantime, when the potatoes are softened enough, take off stove and drain water.  Add milk and butter and mash till creamy (not too creamy so be careful how much butter and milk is added - this depends on how much potatoes you cut).  Then add your burger/mushroom soup mix on top of your potatoes and enjoy.   Mmmm...yummy.

(You can supplement this with tomato soup instead of mushroom if that is your preference.)

I was a food service specialist in the Air Force. For a dozen years. I like to cook for small groups, and geegee's recipe sounds good, but I no longer like to work with recipes based on 100 servings per batch. I got fed up, you might say.

A long time ago, I worked in a restaurant as a short-order cook which lasted a year or two.  I do prepare meals at home from time to time.  And you all should try my recipe (actually, its my wifes)  It serves 5-6 portions.

Another simple one to add to add on top of your creamy tomatoes is this one.

Cook up some steak with onion.  When done, grind it up and add it to your already pre-made gravy mix.  Pour it on your potats and ...oh yummy!!

This one I came up with when my wife had some teeth pulled.  This gave her a chance to eat meat without much chewing.

Anybody else want to share a simple recipe?
