"a lot of people would agree the bible can be confusing and contradict its self."

Would you mind showing me a contradiction in there kreil45?

Then He said to me, "Depart, for I will send you far from here to the gentiles"..........Paul, "the apostle to the gentiles".

"I am sent but to the lost sheep of the house of Israel" Jesus....... "Go not into the way of the gentiles" Jesus to the 12.

Could you cite the passages you speak of?

And one could argue the complete opposite of that view as well.  Just for the sake of fun...Why is polygamy "bad" when it is entered into by consenting and legal adults?

I quoted Val here.

To be honest here I haven't read the full thread.  I think that polygamy would be fun, actually. :) (<--smiley for kidding)

Val.  As a female, would you actually entertain that as a fun thought?  I don't think so.

Neither does anyone else.  Unless... hehe.. lets not go there for now.

I realize that the ol days allowed this.. BUT!!!!

Lets just say that Jesus' admitted that he was a stronger man. :)  A true man.
