make that a few weeks... or months :)

possibly stupid question - Can I make my blog searchable without, like, actually paying a search engine? In other words, if someone googles "sixth circle of hell blog" or something similarly specific, I want my site to come up.

Yes.  Just come up with a suitably specific name and surf to it a number of times, I think, and that should do it.  My website comes up on google and altavista and I haven't paid them anything.

Ummm... I just set up a test site for myself... to see if I could actually have time to keep it up.
