Cimics-
I haven't explored it. Your link to the Fact Check site was the first I had seen a 'hard copy' birth cert and I simply remarked that it did not seem to be the same as what I recollected when I looked at it first on Obama's site. I didn't go back to Obama's site to re-compare, I was working off the recollection. I noted it again simply because Berg himself said that they weren't the same.
The question is moot, in my opinion. The governor in Hawaii has sealed Obama's birth certificate record, which obviously would be pointless if it was already out in the public domain. In other words, there remains the very real possibility that what is in the 'vault' is not what has been displayed.
The truly larger issue is why on earth Presidential candidates do not have to submit this information to an independent board in order to pursue the presidency. I had to produce an original, 'from the vault' birth certificate to get my social security number (well, my parents did) and I had to produce an original 'from the vault' birth certificate in order to get my CDL. It amazes me that I have to produce more documentation to get a commercial drivers license then one has to produce to be president of these United States.
I note too that reportedly Kenya has also sealed its available records. Odd that it would have any records at all, if you ask me.
Cop: I don't care what you think because you wouldn't care, anyway. That whole 'natural born' requirement is just one more thing that you wouldn't mind seeing reinterpreted in light of the 'living document' attitude if it came to it. For you, whether Obama is natural born or not is irrelevant, except insofar as if it came out that he wasn't a lot of other Americans would care.
