The forum rules specify that the forum creator is the forum owner, and can set the rules for the thread.  See the announcement section of the forum for both rules and a comment on this section of the forum.

While this rule applies to all sections of the forum, only in this forum do users actually have the power to enforce their rules.  They can both modify posts in their threads... and delete them. 

If people abuse this power, I suppose no one will post in their threads anymore.

So, any user who very much wants to exercise their right to enforce their rights of being the thread owner is encouraged to use this section.

Participants understand that many of the users on this forum are irrational, irascible, pedantic, and otherwise incorrigible... heh... so keep that in mind when you post.
