Whatever you need to tell yourself to convince yourself that you're not an ignorant a$$ is fine, but your not fooling anyone else but yourself.

But Heretic, I am an ignorant a$$. I wasn't trying to say things to try to convince myself I wasn't. I don't know where you come up with these things.

I don't know why you think I'm trying to prove I'm not.

All the wisdom I have is in Christ. Of myself I have none.

But if you think I'm trying to convince myself of something who am I to doubt you? After all, I bet you are the wisest of the wise and are able to see into men's hearts. I stand humbled before your august presence your increddibleness!

Well?
Are we told to "charge and teach these things" or are we told "NOT to charge and teach these things"? (1Tim.4:10,11).

Tony N and Heretic:

Listen to you two. Bickering like a couple of two-year-olds wrestling over a toy truck. Tch. I've seen more respect exchanged by drunk, enraged gorillas going after the same mate.

BOTH of you are acting like self-righteous bungholes.

Now. Evil. What's it good for? Even if there is no God, there is one answer--a horribly overused one--that I can give.

Evil. It's like the night against the day--if there was no night, would there be day? No, not really. We'd just see the sun 'round the clock, and we'd never notice how DARK it is without it.

Again, evil. It's like the rain against the shine. If there wasn't bad weather, would there be good weather? No, not really. We'd just get clear skies 'round the clock, and never notice how STORMY it is without it.

So that's the way it is. It's the evil against the good. If there wasn't evil, would there be good? No, not really. We'd just get peace and safety 'round the clock, and never notice how BAD it is without it.

Yep, I know. Original, ain't it?

Pretty UNORIGINAL thought there Gol.  But hey, without it, how would we know what an ORIGINAL thought looked like?

Gol_Akaron,
We are actually bickering like 6 year olds. We are a little more mature than 2 year olds. 8)

bobf,

I agree.

Gol,

That sounds a lot like what a druid in an Advanced Dungeons and Dragons might have said.
I used to play a druid quite often.
Good/Evil
Law/Chaos
Light/Dark
Rich/Poor
Too much of one and not enough of the other, and the World falls out of Balance.
AD&D druids are all about balance.
